On this 28th Anniversary of the Humber River Bridge, we recognize the landmark that defines the Humber Bay Shores community. Built at a cost of $4,050,000, this gateway connects Toronto to Etobicoke, which historically was once a trading route of Eastern Woodlands Indigenous peoples.

In 2016, First Capital had acquired the 28-acre site in Humber Bay Shores commonly known as the Mr. Christie Bakery site to develop these lands into residential condominium towers, commercial spaces, and retail.In 2021, First Capital had sold 50% interest in the development to the Pemberton Group. Together, they will build 15-towers, with heights ranging from 16 to 70-storeys.
